The Egypt on the Potomac Field Trip is a guided journey through Washington, DC that uncovers secrets hidden in plain sight. By examining this embedded information, and exploring aspects of African mythology, African American, American, and Washington DC history, the Field Trip illuminates the ancient Egyptian influence on the founding fathers of the United States of America, as well as their acknowledgement of the Nile Valley origins of civilization. We offer public field trips the first Saturday of most months between April and November each year (which may vary depending on holidays). This is the best option for individuals and small groups of people who can attend on scheduled dates. Field Trips are planned at 10:00a.m. and 2:00p.m. on the following dates in 2019.
Tickets purchased in advance are $30 for regular and $20 for students under 18 years of age. Tickets purchased on-site are $35 for regular and $25 for students. Click here to find out more about ticket purchase.
NOTE: There is a NO REFUND policy for tickets purchased. In the event of an unforseen personal emergency, we will make every attempt to transfer tickets to another date during the same Field Trip season for an administrative fee of $10 per ticket. Thank you for your cooperation.
